The Chapter was founded in 1988 with 45 Charter Members. the numbers have grown to 190 as of this date. It includes both men and women from all walks of life, from construction workers to corporate executives. Many of our members own and operate their businesses and as a group we support many local charities such as the Kamloops Wildlife Park, Christmas Amalgamated, Christmas Motorcycle Toy Run, Make a wish Foundation, K-97 Kids, Whitelake Wheelchair Camp, the Eagles (Therapeutic Riding Club), Lions Club Easter Seal buses, and the Top Rail 4-H club. Our major charity is the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada. Over the past many years, our chapter, with your support, has generated over $701,000. for M.D.A.C.

Our main fundraising events are our Harley Davidson Raffle (M.D.A.) and our Charity Poker Run. The year 2008 marks the 20th anniversary of both events, and you are all invited to participate.
